Anonymous stops trolling, begins being Excellent

Sean Bonner's BoingBoing post lays it out perfectly:

If this is true, it's not only awesome--it's also remarkably legit for people that have shown themselves to be mostly concerned with setting tiny internet fires to work mischief for the lulz etc.
It's an educational tactic, which is pleasingly....well, educated of them.
And where before I was mildly reeling with the illegality and risk Anonymous ran (both to wikileaks/net neutrality as a cause, and free speech as a concept), now I'm just happy about the new tactic change.

It's also almost pretty much what I've occasionally been doing with this blog.
Whoops.
