Wikileaks Roundup Again!

from treehugger.com, and the fuckuppery of British Petroleum
Second Anonymous arrest in the Netherlands in connection with the vigilante DDoS attacks. Yet again another 16 year old kid. These arrests are expected to rise because the LOIC (Low-orbit ion cannon) voluntary botnet tool used to do them doesn't block out the IP addresses of the computers that host them (via boingboing).

Ariana Huffington weighs in during the Personal Democracy Forum Symposium: "It's not the job of the media to protect power from embarrassment."

Clay Shirkey speculates about what Wikileaks means for the future of the internet. It's intelligent and cautious. It's a good read.

And for an extra dose of holiday cheek, the Aussies give us the Twelve Leaks of Christmas.

And with that I'm getting off the computer and going to work.
